Anyone smarter than me will please help me?

i have to do an interview to an owner who owns an animal shelter and i dont know what type of questions to ask his workers get paid by the donations the people give they do get regular pay checks with fair pay and all but i dont know what questions to ask the owner as well as the workers can someone give me some ideas please would really do great for me thanks a bunch
